Mike
has been driving Stock Cars & Thunder Cars at Western Speedway
since 1985. He was the Most Improved Driver in 1987,
& was voted Sportsman of the Year in 1989, '96 &
2007. 1999 saw the team capture 3 main event wins on their way
to winning the 1999 Western Speedway Stock Car Championship.
Mike was also 1999 Driver of the Year. After
taking several years off from racing, the BackYard Racers came
back to competition in 2005 and are working hard towards getting
that next feature race win. BYR finished 7th in points for 2006
& 2007 and are looking to do better in 2008. Find out more
